What Has the BRISWA 2.0 Consortium Been Up To?

Curious to know what the BRISWA 2.0 consortium has been working on lately? 😊 Here’s a quick update on our recent activities:

🌍 Policy Analysis: We have been analyzing policies and programs in the participating countries—Cyprus, Greece, Italy, and Spain—to better understand the current landscape and needs regarding racism in sports and education.

📝 Survey Development and Distribution: We have developed a questionnaire to assess the knowledge levels and educational needs of students and university teachers. The survey is currently being distributed, and the results will be essential in shaping the next steps of the project.

💡 Brainstorming for Educational Materials: The consortium has also started brainstorming activities to develop innovative educational materials that will address racism and promote inclusion in sports.

🚀 Meeting in Murcia: On September 12, the consortium gathered in Murcia, hosted by UCAM, to discuss the progress made so far and plan the next steps of the project. This meeting was crucial for preparing the upcoming research phase, which will lead to the creation of a training program aimed at combating racism in both sports and higher education.

🏅📝 With this ambitious goal, we aim to foster inclusion and respect in sports and academic communities across Europe!
