What is BRISWA 2.0 about?

BRISWA2.0-logo

The project aims to address a still widespread social issue: racism in sport.
It does so by raising awareness among teachers, sports coaches, and students about the importance of inclusion.
To this end, a specialized course will be developed to enhance knowledge and skills on this topic and encourage all participants to take an active stand against racism.

The Story

Origins of the Project

BRISWA 2.0 builds upon the previous European project BRISWA (Erasmus+ – Collaborative Partnership in Sport – GA 2016-3060), which addressed racism in sport, particularly in football, promoting equality and solidarity among players, especially young ones. The goal was to redefine and counter racism and discrimination through a deeper and more proactive approach. Thanks to its high-quality outcomes, strong visibility, and tangible impact in the world of sport, BRISWA was recognized by the European Commission as a “good practice”, and was included among the most successful projects in the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform.
